The American Musicological Society is calling for applications to a number of Travel and Research Grant programs.
The following AMS programs are currently open for applications:
1. Eileen Southern Travel Fund Supports minority undergraduates and terminal masters students considering careers in music studies to attend the AMS annual meeting. Deadline: 31 May 2023
2. Elliott Antokoletz Fund Supports music studies research in twentieth-century music. Deadline: 1 April 2023
3. M. Elizabeth C. Bartlet Fund Supports music studies research in France. Deadline: 1 April 2023
4. Virginia and George Bozarth Fund Supports music studies research in Austria. Deadline: 1 April 2023
5. H. Robert Cohen / RIPM Fund Supports research based on the musical press. Deadline: 1 April 2023
6. Jan LaRue Travel Fund Supports music studies research in Europe. Deadline: 1 April 2023
7. Janet Levy Fund Supports music studies research for those without access to employer-based research funding. Deadline: 1 April 2023
8. Harold Powers World Travel Fund Supports music studies research throughout the world. Deadline: 1 April 2023
9. Ora Frishberg Saloman Fund Supports music studies research, particularly research focused on music criticism and reception history. Deadline: 1 April 2023
10. Eugene K. Wolf Travel Fund Supports music studies research in Europe. Deadline: 1 April 2023
