Launch of CIHR Institute of Gender and Health Trainee Network


The Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s (CIHR) Institute of Gender and Health (IGH) is launching a nationwide network for students and trainees.

The network will connect new and future researchers across Canada who are interested in sex and gender in the health sciences.

The inaugural Network Meeting will take place at the Organization for the Study of Sex Differences (OSSD): 2017 Scientific Meeting, being held May 15-18, 2017 in Montreal, Quebec. Student and trainees who attend this meeting will have a chance to get in on the ground floor and provide input on its structure and what kinds of opportunities it will offer.

The Network Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 17. A one-day conference registration rate is available.
